Installation of the software LaTeX
To install LaTeX
from MiKTeX.org à download à 64-bit or 32-bit à install MiKTeX à Selecting the "Download"
option à Downloading the
appropriate exe file à Run MiKTeX à Choose settings à Begin installationà Complete installation.
To open TeXwork go
to Start > All Programs > MiKTeX > TeXwork. Ã update all tools.
Note:- Use also
TeXstudio. TeXstudio is an integrated writing environment for creating LaTeX
documents. It has features like syntax highlighting, integrated viewer,
reference checking, and various assistants.
The file sizes of
the Latex are generally smaller than the Word document files.
The default
extension used is .tex, which we can edit with Notepad or a Simple text editor.
The Latex file
contains the text as well as the commands for writing the text and equations
for the formatting of the document.
